Cloud SynApps is proud to have successfully delivered the first phase of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the Public Health Agency of Canada’s (PHAC) Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP), a transformative initiative that modernizes the way Canadians access an essential government service. The program provides financial support to individuals in Canada who have been assessed as having experienced a serious and permanent injury following the administration of a Health Canada-authorized vaccine. Working closely with PHAC, Cloud SynApps designed and implemented a secure, scalable, and accessible digital solution that simplifies the claims process while meeting the Government of Canada’s rigorous standards for security, accessibility, and service delivery.
The first phase of the MVP delivers a robust digital foundation, including a secure claimant portal for online application submission, end-to-end claim intake and automated case creation in Salesforce, secure document upload capabilities for supporting medical evidence, role-based access controls, streamlined intake workflows, operational reporting dashboards, and an accessibility-compliant Experience Cloud portal. Together, these capabilities provide Canadians with a transparent, secure, and user-friendly experience while enabling PHAC to process and manage claims more efficiently.
More than a technology implementation, this project demonstrates Cloud SynApps’ ability to deliver mission-critical digital transformation for the public sector. By helping PHAC modernize a nationally significant program, the solution improves transparency, strengthens the protection of sensitive health information, enhances operational efficiency, and lays the groundwork for future innovation. This successful MVP represents an important step toward more accessible, citizen-centric government services and reflects Cloud SynApps’ commitment to delivering solutions that create meaningful impact for both our clients and the Canadians they serve.
