Cloud SynApps is proud to have partnered with the Region of Peel to successfully deliver the Below Market Housing solution, a transformative digital platform that modernizes how residents access affordable rental housing opportunities across Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga. Designed to improve accessibility, transparency, and operational efficiency, the solution provides an end-to-end digital experience that simplifies the housing application process while supporting fair and consistent housing allocation decisions.

Working closely with the Region of Peel, Cloud SynApps developed a centralized platform that connects residents, housing representatives, and housing providers through a seamless digital workflow. Residents can create and manage housing profiles, submit Expressions of Interest for available housing opportunities, and track the progress of their applications through an intuitive online portal. On the administrative side, housing representatives can create and manage housing opportunities, assess applicant eligibility using standardized business rules, prioritize qualified applicants, and facilitate referrals to housing providers. Providers and developers can then securely review referred applicants through a dedicated portal and complete final approval or rejection decisions, creating a transparent and collaborative allocation process from start to finish.

The project delivered significant operational improvements by replacing manual, paper-based processes with an integrated digital solution that increases visibility across the applicant lifecycle, standardizes eligibility assessments, and strengthens collaboration between the Region and its housing partners. Additional capabilities, including comprehensive audit trails, status tracking, role-based security, and automated regression testing using Copado Robotic Testing, have established a secure and scalable platform that supports ongoing operational excellence and future program growth.

Delivered on time and within approved budget, the Below Market Housing solution is now fully operational and serving the Region of Peel’s housing programs. The project reflects Cloud SynApps’ commitment to delivering innovative, citizen-centric digital solutions that improve public services and create meaningful outcomes for communities. By modernizing the housing application experience, the solution helps the Region of Peel provide a more accessible, efficient, and transparent pathway for residents seeking affordable housing while laying the foundation for future expansion and continued digital innovation.
